Scenography
Since the 1990s, I have been working with theatre and dance companies as collaborating artist. I am especially interested in devised performance, collective creation, and site-related scenography. Numerous projects have been presented at festivals across Canada, the US, Europe and Asia, and been nominated for individual and collective awards, including nominations for the Simonvitch Prize in Theatre and more than two dozen Jessie Richardson Awards.

Contemporary Dance & Dance Theatre
I began collaborating with contemporary dance artists in the 1980s, mainly in the context of Simon Fraser University's Centre for the Contemporary Arts and their Choreographic Seminar Series, first as a musician and later as a set and sound designer. This led to working with, among others, Karen Jamieson, Jennifer Mascall, Dancecorps, Lee Eisler, Chick Snipper and perhaps most importantly a long association as scenographer with the late Lola Macaughlin. Based on Lola's interest in contemporary dance theatre and in particular the work of Pina Bausch, we created four full-length works between 1998 and 2007.
